Scripture:

Elijah’s Calling of Elisha

Elisha is introduced as a working man in a field. But heaven introduces him differently. While others see a farmer, God sees a prophet. While others see routine labor, God sees future assignment.

This is one of the most freeing truths in Scripture: God’s view of your life is not limited to your current role.

People often define us by what we are doing right now. But God defines us by what He is calling us into. That means your present condition is not your final identity.

Elisha didn’t look like a prophet yet—but he was already known in heaven as one.

If you are overlooked, underestimated, or unnoticed, don’t measure your value by human recognition. God is not blind to your faithfulness. He sees the heart that keeps showing up, keeps working, keeps believing.

You are not hidden from God. You are being prepared by Him.
