What is the Kingdom of God?

Jesus described it in many ways: a mustard seed, yeast, treasure, a pearl of great value.

Why so many descriptions?

Because the Kingdom of God is bigger and more beautiful than words alone can fully explain.

It is not fully realized yet, but it is breaking into the present.

Jesus embodied the Kingdom everywhere He went through

  • meals,

  • compassion,

  • presence,

  • healing,

  • welcome,

  • and love.

The Kingdom starts small but grows into something life-giving. The Kingdom quietly transforms everything it touches. The Kingdom is worth everything.

Deep down, the home we long for is life with God—the kind of fellowship humanity once experienced in Eden.

If we want the Kingdom, we need the King.

Jesus didn’t simply teach about home. He brought home with Him.

And now, as followers of Jesus, we are invited to do the same: to bring the Kingdom into the world around us.

Every act of kindness, hospitality, encouragement, compassion, and generosity pulls back the curtain a little and gives people a taste of home.
